We walked through Muckross House, built in pure opulence while Ireland suffered through famine. Now, the Irish government lets the masses in for free.

We found a quiet kind of calm inside Muckross Abbey, right up until we reached the most clicked TikTok tree exuding life in the center of the old stone ruins.

They named Ladies View Killarney after Queen Victoria’s ladies-in-waiting visited in 1861. Standing there, we had to admit the name completely justifies what we were looking at.

We stood by Torc Waterfall, listening to the heavy crash of water dropping from the top into the river below. A picture-perfect sight that actually made the visit worth it.
